Thanks for considering Bubbles N Brushes for your private event. Our painting parties are always memorable; great for birthdays, showers, bachelorette’s, Girls Night Out, corporate gatherings and team-building events, or simply a fun night out!
We are available 7 days a week based on availability. Friday and Saturday nights are the most requested nights therefore one may want to inquire earlier.
Minimum Requirements: Adult or Teen Party: Must have a minimum of 10 people for a private party or the minimum charge of $300.00. Cost is $30.00 per painter. IF, your group reaches 16 or more we will give a price break of $5.00 per painter, bringing your cost to $25.00 per painter.
Time allotments: Private Parties receive 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the party to get settled in. Anytime thereafter, will be charged $50 every (1/2) half hour. For example: If your party is from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., painting begins at 6:00 p.m. therefore you have from 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to get checked in and 9:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. to mingle. We will be happy to accommodate any other requests should you need time for opening gifts, visiting, etc. at $50 per (1/2) half hour.
How Do I Schedule A Private Party?
· Choose a date. Check availability by calling or texting (361) 813-4905. Scheduled private parties are indicated on the calendar after a deposit is received
· Once the date is confirmed we will send you an email link or you may use the link at bubblesnbrushes.net to pay the non-refundable deposit. When you pay the deposit, you agree to the terms of the agreement. A copy will be emailed to you.
· Pick your painting and let us know a week in advance so a sample is available.
1. Deposits: Private parties are booked by placing a refundable deposit to secure the desired date and time, after availability is confirmed by the studio. Please note that private parties book quickly, especially on the weekends, so please try and schedule as far in advance as possible to ensure your desired time slot is available. PRIVATE KID/ADULT DEPOSIT: $150 CORPORATE and ON-SITE DEPOSIT: $250
2. ADULT PARTIES
+Minimum of 10 paid seats [parties of fewer than 10 guests are permissible, but the minimum 10 seats must be purchased]. For smaller events, we do have a Small Group Pricing flat free of $200 for a group of 2-5 painters
+Choice of: any painting in Bubbles N Brushes extensive library and Pandora music station.
+Your own experienced and talented artist
+A Registration link to the party-page will be provided to the host so guests can sign up in advance
+Food/Beverages: We encourage you to bring any drinks, food, and/or snacks that you’d like. Wine and beer are fine (no hard liquor, thank you). Catering is available from our local Premier Partners.
+Party Time: The Events Calendar on the Bubbles N Brushes – website will show your party as a 2 or 3-hour event. Please encourage your guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to your party's start time to settle in with a drink and a snack. Private parties that start late (30 minutes or longer) may be subject to a late fee of $50.00 per 30 minutes, or you can request more time beforehand to extend your party!

Our classes do start on time!
+Party duration may also be extended at the price of $50 for an additional 30 minutes
3. KIDS' PARTIES
+Please see our kid party packages and age range. Most of our packages are for 5 years of age and up. Under 5, please contact us for customization.
+Choice of: any Pandora music station; any painting in Bubbles N Brushes extensive library—kids section
+Your own experienced and talented artist
+Cake may be served during our break times. First break after the background is painted for Food/Drinks. 2nd break for Cake. If time permits, presents can be opened while canvases are drying at the end of class.
+Start time: Please tell your guests to arrive 15 minutes before the party starts as we do begin our classes on time
**Please do not arrive any earlier than 30 minutes to allow our staff to properly set up for your party**

+End time: Please tell all parents to arrive at the time your class ends to ensure that no child is waiting after the cake is served
+If your party runs over the 30 minute period following the 2-hour painting class, you may be charged for the additional time. [Note: party duration may be extended at the price of $75 for an additional 30 minutes.] Private parties that start late (30 minutes or longer) will be subject to a late fee of $75.00 per 30 minutes).
+The host/hostess of the party agrees to be responsible for all children waiting for the pick-ups and we may ask you to wait outside if your time runs over the 30 minute period if we have to clean and set-up for the next class
+We appreciate any gratuity for our instructors, 10 to 20% is customary.
FOR ALL PRIVATE PARTIES
4. Painting Selection: Private/corporate parties have their choice of painting selection! Please view our Painting Library at: https://www.bubblesnbrushes.net (there are so many awesome paintings to choose from) but we do need to have your selection 7 days prior to your party. If we don’t have your choice by that time, your artist may not be able to paint your desired selection and we reserve the right to have you choose from the artist library (the list of paintings that your artist has already painted).
This method ensures your artist is familiar with the painting, knows how to paint and instruct it and it provides a copy of the actual painting on the stage for your guests to look at and refer to. This is one of the reasons Bubbles N Brushes is the premier paint & sip studio in Portland TX and our method greatly helps to ensure a guest’s painting success!
For children's events, a painting from the Kid's section must be chosen.
5. Cancellation Policy: While we regret to lose the opportunity to paint with you, our private party cancellation policy is in place to protect the professional artists who are booked specifically for your party. For this reason, we firmly require a minimum of 10 business days (Monday - Friday) notice of cancellation before your party date to grant a deposit refund or rescheduled date. A delayed deposit placed less than 7 days before the desired party date will not be eligible for either refund or reschedule. All refunds made 10 days before the event will be charged a $50 cancellation fee (taken out of the deposit).
If all party costs are met—paid registrations for all guests [minimum of 10 for adults and 10 for kids]—the full $150 deposit will be refunded the day after the event. If there are any unpaid charges, including parties running 30 minutes over [that are not caused by the artist(s)], they will be deducted from the deposit prior to the refund. Private parties that start late (30 minutes or longer) may be subject to a late fee of $50.00 per 30 minutes).
Fundraising Events: Fundraisers are scheduled just like a Private Party. A $150 deposit is required to hold the date. The pricing per seat if $40 and the minimum headcount to receive $10 back on each seat is 20 pre-paid painters. If you have over 20 painters, Bubbles N Brushes will donate back to your 501c3 organization, $10 from every seat sold [requires proper documentation of non-profit status]. You can also choose to make your fundraiser public.
We are all about having an awesome time but we expect for you to be respectful of our space, belongings, and employees/guests. We may ask for you to remove yourself from our premises if you become disrespectful. All children are expected to behave as they would in their own homes. Any adult consuming alcohol does so at their own risk and agrees to not become intoxicated while on the premises of Bubbles N Brushes . IF YOU BYOB BE RESPONSIBLE, Bubbles N Brushes and its associates are not responsible for any irresponsible actions caused by your choices.
DISCLOSURE:
Bubbles N Brushes and its associates have the right to refuse services if we feel unsafe for any reason. When booking an event you agree that it is being held in a safe area and environment. If we arrive and feel otherwise, we have the right to leave without further explanation. Any lost or stolen items while on the premises are not the responsibility of Bubbles N Brushes or its associates. You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times.
Any damage caused by you or any of your guests, you are financially and or morally responsible for. Any injury incurred due to your own carelessness or neglect, you agree that Bubbles N Brushes will not be held responsible. Any allergic or medical reaction due to products or paints you agree it is not the responsibility of Bubbles N Brushes and its associates. If you have known allergies we request that you make us aware so that if any precautions need to be taken , we will inform you. If you do not have this in writing with signed documentation from yourself and a Bubbes N Brushes representative , we will assume you do not have any allergies and will continue as planned. Occasionally flashing lights are used, if you have a sensitivity or seizures please let us know and we will be sure to not have them displayed.
